Our take
This is the least glamorous gadget on our list, and we mean that as a compliment. The Kalogon Booster is not a cushion. It is a small controller that attaches to most single-cell air flotation cushions and keeps them at the pressure a clinician set. It watches for leaks and altitude changes, so you do not have to hand-pump as often. Check the Kalogon site to see whether it works with your cushion, since compatibility matters. And if your pressure needs are specific, your clinician is the one to set that number. We keep one in our Equipment Library for in-person demos only.
Who it may help: People who use a single-cell air cushion and want it kept at the pressure a clinician set.
This is our own summary based on the manufacturer’s information and our Tech Guide notes. We are not a seller, we have not been paid to write it, and it is not medical advice. Talk with your clinician before you choose equipment.
