Permobil Corpus Seating System

Seating & Positioning

Our take

If your seat does a lot of work for you, it matters how it moves. Permobil's Corpus seating system is the powered seating platform on many of its power wheelchairs, and what stands out is how much it can do. Permobil lists programmable memory positions, an Independent Repositioning Mode that sequences tilt, leg elevation and recline for pressure relief, and a height-adjustable Corpus Ergo backrest. Options include ActiveHeight seat elevation and ActiveReach forward tilt for reaching and face-to-face tasks. It is ordered with a Permobil power base through a provider, so start that conversation early. It is not in our Equipment Library.

Who it may help: Power wheelchair users who need powered seating and positioning, ordered with a Permobil base through a provider.
