Our take

Stand up from your power chair, and the whole room looks different. The Permobil F5 Corpus VS is a front-wheel-drive power wheelchair with programmable standing, including sit-to-stand, semi-reclined and supine-oriented positions, plus chest and knee supports and a power articulating footplate. Mid-wheel Corpus VS options also exist, so check current models with the manufacturer. Clinical assessment, configuration and funding run through providers, which is a good reason to bring your clinician in early. We keep one in our Equipment Library for in-person demos only, so you can see it before you decide.

Who it may help: Power wheelchair users who want programmable standing, working with a clinician and provider.
