Our take
A compact power chair that still has the full set of power seating: that is what Permobil says the M4 Nexa offers. New Mobility reports tilt, recline, anterior tilt, elevating leg rests and seat elevation on a mid-wheel frame, with seat widths as small as 12 inches and a seat-to-floor height as low as 15 inches. What stands out is the focus on smaller riders who need complex positioning. Permobil expects VA availability after anticipated FDA 510(k) clearance, and full US and Canada availability in January 2027. We have not tested it, and our Tech Guide has a page on it too.
Who it may help: Adolescents and smaller adults who use power wheelchairs and need complex power seating.
