Our take

Small spaces, big seating needs: that is the idea behind the Permobil M4 Nexa. It is a compact mid-wheel power wheelchair that Permobil describes as built for smaller statured users and tight indoor spaces. What stands out is that it does not trade away positioning to get there, with tilt, recline, elevating leg rests, seat elevation and forward tilt listed, and seat widths from 12 to 22 inches. Hold your excitement for a moment, though. Permobil plans a phased launch, with U.S. and Canada availability planned for January 2027. Confirm current models and ordering paths on the Permobil site.

Who it may help: Smaller statured power wheelchair users, and people who need advanced positioning in tight indoor spaces.
